I have searched and found nothing but maybe Honda lingo is different from the Nissan lingo im use to. Anyway a buddy of mine has a CRX, we are doing a B18A1 swap into it. I understand everything on doing the swap. We want to throw a turbo setup on it while the engine is out of the car. We are using a small DSM turbo, I believe its a T25 not sure. My question is will the B18A ECU be able to handle the turbo or does it have to be upgraded? I am asuming it has to be upgraded. Where can I get an upgraded ecu and which injectors do I use? Im trying to make this pretty much plug and play as my friend is pretty mechanical illiterate and I dont have the time to teach him lol. Thanks alot.

 

yes ecu will need to be upgraded to run properly, if you want just a basic boost injector, i'd go with dsm 450cc's. more info go to homemadeturbo.com or search around here to see what people run.

 

you will need some kind of socketted ECU, a P06 i believe since that car is obd-0, can use turboedit to tune it slap a base map in for the 450cc injectors, or you could run a FMU but id suggest not. Might also want to upgrade the fuel pump as well.

 

How do I use the turbo edit, is there a tutorial? Im not trying to get real deep into this swap as I have my own project car to tend to. Im just looking for something cheap and easy that I can plug in and go.
