Default timing off

whats up i just did a b16 swap in a 99ex and when i finished i tried to start it and it popped back through the intake, so i pull the valve cover and check timing and the timing is dead on. so i pull the cap and the rotor is pointing toward three at tdc instead of one. so i change the plug wires to correct the firing order and it fires and runs but will barely rev up and has no power. so i was wondering how can the dizzy be 90 degrees out i searched but no one had the answer

i've checked about everything i can think of the timing being 180 out and the dizzy being 180 out. and the pug wires were on correctly on both ends

while your at it make sure that your injector harness is installed properly. Just a little extra assurance...

either your cam is positioned wrong meaning timing belt is not on right, or your dist. is not mounted right.

the timing is right both cam gears line up when the crank is at tdc i've did everything short of pulling the crank puller and looking at the timing mark on the oil pump

and the dizzy is mounted right the flat part of the cap is up

You can not install the dizzy wrong. It will only fit on one way, unless you used a bigger hammer.
