setting dead timing.
ok so i got a 92 civic with a b16 swap. im trying to set dead timing and i know im supposed to jump two wires under the dash near the ecu and theres a couple connectors there. and two wires just hanging (previous owner cut it.. fing ahole) would someone be able to tell me the colors of the wires i need to jump. id really appreciate it.

im trying to set dead timing. which is disabling the ignition curve i need to jump two wires under the dash by the comp. this takes out any curve and allows u to set dead timing. i just need the colors of those wires.

on fuel injected cars that you can adjust timing on by moving the distributor you need to bypass the ecu's timing curve. otherwise youll never get a true base timing. so if you jump these two wires it basically turns off the ecus curve and allows you to set base or dead timing. i think i found the wire colors but if anyone has it please let me know!

yea i knew i had to jump the service connector but wasnt sure which one it was cause there was a couple bare wires by the comp.. dont worry all they have been dealt with. and it was the brown and black wire for anyone who cares.. got it set.
