Default Aftermarket throttle bodies

I am looking for a 70mm throttle body for my H22. After reading countless posts on how sucky the majority of aftermarket TB's are, I was wondering what have people used that has shown to be problem-free (sticking, idle fluctuation, POS in general).

So far, it's hit and miss with the following:
BDL/STR - Sticking/ idle issues
RPM Service - Sticking issues as well
Skunk2- ?
Professional products -?
Any other brands?

If I had it my way, I would just bore out a stock TB, but I don't think they can be bored out to 70mm can they?

I would love to here what everyone has used with success.

Have you considered boring your stock TB?

Aren't the gains from an aftermarket throttle body extremely minimal on street-driven boosted applications?

professional products uses AEBS's design for their throttle bodies. i have not heard or seen any issues with them yet, which is what led me to pick one up for my current build. i was gonna go with skunk2 since my head is skunk2'd out i know that they have issues sticking and it sucks sitting at a stoplight idling at like 4k, especially if a cop pulled up behind you.
the mustang throttle bodies work pretty well, but i believe those are 75mm so unless youre running a serious setup thats not driven on the street, its not gonna benefit you.
sometimes the JG throttle bodies have idle fluctuation issues..
also BBK throttle bodies are pretty good, id consider them if you already havent..
but for the price, you cant beat the AEBS (PP) throttle body

Great to hear this. Would you know if they have a 70mm one? I usually see 68mm being the biggest, however this website shows they have them in 70mm (mistake?)

http://www.midwestmotorsportsi...e=MWM

Can't beat the price on them either, since a boring out an OEM TB is around 100 + shipping.

i would say that it depends on what exactly you are using the throttle body for,

if you have a intake plenum that is larger than stock ie:70-75mm and a 70-75mm throttle body i think that your gains would be decent, throttle response is better with aftermarket than with oem i think.

i myself am using a 70mm bbk power plus throttle body with a Full Race intake manifold, and the FR intake manifold has a 75mm plenum opening, so i have room for larger if i want, but i think 70mm is pretty good
