gauge not working

Default gauge not working

my gauge for the rpm is not working. i have the 4th gen h22a. i have seen this topic before i just cant find it again when i search it..maybe im searching the wrong thing. i had another tach wired but i just stuck the wires under the dash bc i sold it. it was working fine earlier today and all of a sudden it stopped working.

ya i have the same problem. my aftermarket one works but my dash one doesnt. it sometime does and somethimes doesnt but when it does, its 1000 rpm off. does anyone know the problem and how i can fix it?

yea you were right...there was a slit in the wire and i guess it was touching something medal. so wrap it with electrical tape and it came back on..thanks
