Spark Plugs and Wires
Im sure this has been posted millions of times on here. But im just wondering what the best spark plug and wire combo would be for a 94 accord ex with an F22B1?
I dont want to start a new topic.
NGK plugs I have been told before are the best. Is it best to get the plug that is most closest to stock, or is it smart to go with platinum or iridium? I have the stock F22b2 motor in my 94 lx coupe and I havent changed the plugs and the time is coming, any information would be excellent.
The 2nd question I have is, right now I have nology hot wires and i'm hearing mixed information about the kind of wires to be using. Should I use the stock set and its adequate? OR, should I use an aftermarket set?
Any information is appreciated, thankyou very much in advance.

it is OEM
it is OEM
Unless you get in to making crazy power OEM plugs and wires will do you fine. I work at a dealer and regularly see drivability problems caused by aftermarket wires.
Plus as stated above the factory wires outlast the aftermarket stuff by a long time usually.

If by myth you're referring to how long plug wires last it's not a myth. I have a tech that checks resistance on wires all the time. They last 90-120k easy in this climate as long as the plugs are changed regularly.

Interesting point, stick with stock, just switch them out every so often. I remember back in the day I had Bosch4 Platinums, and they were so heralded, and then suddenly everyone said, screw it, go with stock.
I've heard to go with OEM plugs and wires but I went with a set of Taylor Thundervolt wires as I had a gift card thingy or discount whatever you want to call it for Summit racing so I got them instead. I got those with OEM NGK plugs from the dealer and it seemed to really help after doing the tune up. I also went with a Napa cap and rotor. So far this setup is good but I don't know how long the wires will last. I've heard a lot of aftermarket wires don't last as long. I haven't had mine on even a year yet but so far they are good. I've probably had mine 8 months or so.
