Spark plugs and wires
alright i searched on this and didnt really find much so i will ask here. I was just wondering if it is a good idea to put different spark plugs and wires on my car which just has intake and exhaust. if so what are the best brands of wires and plugs to use? lastly is it really worth it?
I would say that you do not need new plugs or wires unless they are worn out.
You may want to switch to a colder plug, or change your gap if you have significant NA mods with more compression or you are FI. Otherwise, just replace when they're worn.
For wires, get something that fits good, such as the stock NGK. With plugs, get copper equivalents and change them more frequently or go with Platinum and pay more but change them less freq.
Thoughts?

Agreed, NGK. Get the V-Power style plug.
I love the stock NGK wires, yet like Magnecor KV85 race wires even more. Thats if you're going for performance, not just tune-up.
