I have had my H22a swapped in for over a year now. i put a XTD Stage 3 6 Puck in in August. drove it nice, broke it in 0 problems. i drove it all over hell around town on 2+ hour highway trips, raced the hell outta it, this thing was my daily driver. i put dam near 3,500 miles on it. i take one trip 45 miles down the interstate running it at about 3,500 r.p.m for most of the trip i get off the interstate into town and for some reason out of the blue my car will not go into 2nd gear while it is moving. when sitting motor running not moving i can run through all the gears fine but once i start driving it will not go into 2nd it just grinds if i try to put it into gear. i wrecked it about a week after that so it has been garaged since and i am just now getting it fixed up for summer.

any ideas on what the problem is?

bad gear mabey? it is the only gear i have a problem with.

First two things you always check with a shifting problem are linkage and mounts.

But i actually had the same thing happen to me kinda and it was actually the clutch so. Take things one step at a time though and investigate the obvious first. If that isnt the problem try changing the tranny fluid before you go nuts thinking your synco is bad.
