Default Need help with upcoming swap!

I'm putting a jdm type r motor in my 2000 itr (US obviously). I know I have to swap out the distributors and convert down to OBD1 from OBD2B to avoid throwing a crank angle sensor light. I have a chipped and tuned p72 obd1 ecu in my 94 gsr. The question is, can I use that ecu for the type r conversion without screwing up the motor? (the maps are quite different from stock). I'm going to buy another basic, untuned ecu for the gsr if I end up being able to swap the good one into the itr. Also, I need headers and a cat... will US headers fit onto a B18C R? Thanks for the help
