traction bars... wtf is going on?
z10 bars.. last night dropped in the motor and noticed that the oil pan was hitting the bar? whats going on? the car has never been in an accident and all motor mounts (prothanes) fit fine. did i install it to the correct point on the LCA? the z10 instructions are not too clear on if i was suppose to mount it to the center of the LCA or the strut fork bolt. btw, dont mind the mess.. got a new oil pan to replace it.

You have them mounted to the wrong location on the LCA.
The U sahped bracket needs to be mounted to the where the shock fork connects to the LCA. That will solve your problem, and is how the Z10's are designed to work.

thought so.. the instructions said on the LCA, but it didnt specify the strut/shock fork. plus from other pictures maybe other brand of traction bars. i see some are mounted on the LCA. oh well, i will try again tonight. thanks
