What kind of Nitrous shot to put on a stock Ls/V-tec????

What kind of Nitrous shot to put on a stock Ls/V-tec without hurting the motor?
Also what kind of track times have you guys had with nos on a stock motor? Any info would help THANK YOU

Thats a pretty general question as far as track times go. But as far as the shot, i wouldnt run more than 20hp per cyliner, so jet it for 75 i guess.

I wouldn't run more than a 75 shot, if it's a wet setup. Do you have any idea what type of n2o kit you want, wet/dry, direct port or fogger?

I am guessing wet shot. I took my car out to Irwindale speedway, it ran a 8.9 at 75mph I am hoping for low 8 with a 75 shot. Now I just have to purchase the kit

well i was running 100 shot on a stock ls v withc itr cams and i stepped the plugs colder 2 degrees and retarded the timing 8 degrees and had a real basic vafc street tune and the car was rediculous on the streets.

i rocked a dry 75 shot on my stock lsvtec @ 58k, car still ran strong when i took it apart at 79k... had it tuned all motor, did a few nitrous pulls, changed the FPR jet, 218 whp @ 7400... the longevity of that setup was due to the 7600 rev limiter

with pr3's your compression is in the 11.3 to 11.5 nowheres near the 12's even with a gsr head. you can run 100 shot with a good tune on that set up too..
