Default ignition timing problem on turbod gsr HELP PLEASE

i have a chipped p28 running crome pro right now..... my setup is a b18c1 with a t3/t4 boosting at about 10-11 psi. My problem is that i just did a rebuild, and that i have to break the engine in before i can get it dynoed.

I guess my question is how do i know that i have the ignition timing correct when i cant dyno or rev the car to 8000 anyway? i have to break it in for about 1000 miles but i dont want it to blow up before i even get there...

is there anyway to reflash the ecu? i have no idea what to do. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

break the engine in on the dyno then immediately tune after. problem solved.

or you could pull the wastegate spring and not boost while breaking the motor in, problem solved as well.

Yeah pulling the wg spring would probably be the best option if you went for the 1000mile break in, talk to your tuner and see what he thinks. Maybe he can burn u a basemap that will be safe for light break in driving.
