Default need help optimizing p28 ignition maps for a d14 engine -CROME-

hello everyone,


i'm driving with base p28 ignition maps on my d14..... how can i make them more optimal for a smaller engine .

the only answer is put it on a dyno.

i dont have any option to dyno it whatsoever.

I'm assuming its a 75mm bore, but with a shorter stroke? If thats the case, the maps don't have to be much different. Since its less air though, you may be able to add a degree or three of timing throughout most of the map. If its the same stroke but smaller bore, you'd most likely have to run a few degrees less ignition timing.

thanks for the answers.

yes the bore is 75 but the stroke is 79, cr is 9.1, runing on 95 daily,


the reason i cant put it on a dyno is because i live in israel...

ill explain the rest when ill get back from work

You are not going to get a direct answer on the forums.
Start conservative & work your way up on a dyno while monitoring for signs of knock & MBT.
