Default Vtec engaging?

just wondering, if you can hear vtec engaging (kinda feel it too i guess) does that mean it works? weird question...

if its sohc vtec then you probly won't hear it unless you have a huge intake
if its dohc then you will here a change in the exhaust.

yeah if its in a sohc then prolly not unless u got some money in it

it's a gsr swap, no exhaust yet so its open header. yeah i can def hear it, but just checking. first swap...

yeahhp youll deffinately be hearing the change in exhaust tone on the DOHC B18.. especially with an open header

you can always here vtec engage no matter what... and if it wasnt your check engine light would go on... so if the lights not on... then its working
