Coolant spilt out...do I need to rebleed it?

Default Coolant spilt out...do I need to rebleed it?

one of my radiator hoses popped off cuz the dumb clamp wasn't all the way on. some spilt out from the thermostat hose. if i refill it up, do i need to rebleed it? can i "mix" coolant? i used honda coolant but don't have anymore, but i have another brand coolant here. can i use it?

as long as it's coolant is for your car (and not that orange crap GM uses) then you're fine.

check to see if it's 50 50 mix, or if you need to mix it with water as well.

You should be fine, just take the cap off and "burp" the system if you want. Just make sure its not a 50/50 mix when you go to put more fluid/water in.

Wait, make sure it's not premixed? So I don't need to mix it with water then?

if your that worry about it. drain the radiator and refill it with a new bottle of coolant. only $10. or if it's warm where you live just add water since you have some coolant in it already. you don't need alot of antifreeze unless you live in alaska or some place really cold.

You just can't add water/more coolant to a 50/50 mix. Make sure you add in the same stuff you put in
