4th gen gauge install pic/teaser, center console above radio semi sleeper aka not pillar gauges
got some pics of what im doin with my gauges, got auto meter sport comps. taken a lot of cutting so far, pretty much hacked the vents apart and cut away whatever, had a sheet of thin aluminum, cut to fit, used hole saw to drill 2 1/4 holes for gauges, and got angle rings from autometer to make them fit better. wiring is pretty simple, ganna wire all positive negative wires to the cigerette lighter, 2 gauges and three gauge bulbs, idont think it will be too much, 12v switched power, then a wire to the oil pressure sensor and a wire to the water temp sensor. i ordered a block adapter from stealthmode performance(if they are still open, they havent gotten back to me) and have a hose kit to mount oil sensor on firewall, not sure what im ganna do with the temp sensor yet, and boost line im ganna tee on fpr line i believe.. thanks for checkin it out, let me know what you think,
i didnt want to put them on the pillar, and didnt feel like cutting the whole dash apart to mount behind the black screen.. so i was drivin one day and was like .. put them there, plus my center vent wasnt working, which i could have fixed.. the little flaps just werent opening, but i think this will look pretty damn nice when im done, uses the factory screws and clips that hold the vents in...

glued the angle rings in, top coat, primer, primer, primer, looks decent.. spray bombed satin black.. will do wiring soon, waiting on block fitting still..

little blurry...

all the gauges are clearly visible from the drivers seat, i had to cut more of the original vent out for the vacuum line for the boost, so i prob wont move it, plus im not even boostin till next year, ganna be ready to rip soon though, i got all the gauges at summit, i think it was like 150 with the angle rings. been on vacation for a week, should be wiring these up in the next week, will post pics of the complete install asap.
