water gauge
hey i just got an autometer water temp gauge was wondering if i install the sender and all can i use the wires autometer gives and trap off one them(which one) to make my stock one still work?

you have to install the autometer sender somewhere and connect it to the sender position on the gauge. your stock one will still work. just follow the instructions. and you can search the archives on where to mount the sender as well.

yea but can i just swap out the stock sender with the autometer, take the wire for stock the temp and tap in to the autometer wire to have them both working

is the guage electrical or mechanical, if its mechanical then it is so much easier, if its electrical its easy also but just remember to ground the sender wherever you install it.
i did mine in a heater hose, i just cut it and went to the hardware store and made an adapter to fit the sensor and put the hose back together
