So I am wrapping up my LS/vtec swap and I found out that I have a p30 intake manifold. I don't see an IAT provision in any of the runners. Is it possible that it doesn't use one or it is located somewhere other than the IM? I see a provision on runner #1 that I could possibly drill and tap, but I don't know if I wanna mess with that. Thoughts on doing it on the intake tube, pre TB? It is required for me to run one so I can pass emissions for when I temporarily run my stock obd2 ecu.

You will want that sensor. Upstream of the TB is fine.

 

Actually, I ended up drilling and tapping runner #1. Fits like a glove...
