what to do with sensor in intake??
Hey guys im currently taking parts off my car to prep it for my turbo setup. This is my first time ever so please dont mind the noobish questions i have. Okay on the stock intake pipe connecting the intake manifold to the filter box on a y8 there is a sensor that is plugged into it...What do i do with it?? do i even need it. And what do i do with all the vacuum lines connecting from the intake manifold to this stock charge pipe??? I currently have no resources beside this forum so any help would be greaty aprecciated...

Re: what to do with sensor in intake??
that sensor is an obd2 thing so if your using an obd1 ecu to be chipped, then it can jus hang in there. it wont do anything on an obd1 ecu. as for the vacuums, u can jus tee them together. if anyone has anything to add or correct, feel free.

nah actually it is the iat sensor, and is very important. you can streach the wires to pre turbo piping, or get an obd1 sensor and add it to the intake manifold.
