Default air intake temp sensors obd?

Sorry for the typo in the title.

Tried searching

Can I run a IAT sensor from a different obd or do they have to match?

OBD1 AITs physically mount to the intake manifold with 2 screws while OBD2 AITs are located on the intake tubing or airbox (excluding the B16A2).

I'm not certain if the are swappable (ceratinly not a direct swap).

All I can think of....

Yeah, I read that part.

It's actually a p09 intake manifold on a obd2 y7. The sensor is on the fourth runner.
