Drag Manifold + 57 trim = no fit?!?!?!?

Default Drag Manifold + 57 trim = no fit?!?!?!?

i got a b18b and decided to upgrade to a t03t04e 57 trim and it is rubbing a little on the block.... i have a drag manifold

should i shave the block alittle? new manifold? lil help would be cool

Just shave the block, as long as its rubbing on one of the ribbs you are just fine.

most drag mani's are designed around a 5-bolt exhaust turbo, I believe.

A 4-bolt exhaust turbo will not work as they are angled differently from the centerline, therfore, it angles the turbo wrong.


I found this out the hard way too, I ended up selling the drag mani and getting a max-rev as this is one that is designed around a 4-bolt exhaust turbo.

thanks everyone thats what i was thinkin.... debating weather i want to get a tubular manifold tho?? any difference in power?

If you got to the full race web site they have dyno results that show a 40hp increse by change from a log mani to ramhorn.
