Default Thoughts on Tial V60?

I have a turbo K & have major boost creep with one 44mm gate & no room for a second. Of course Tial says the V60 is the remedy for that but I'd like to know from some of the people using larger gates.
@ 14psi the motor makes 500+ whp & wanted a dtreet tune @ or below for those few times I might take it on the street. I have a cut off @ 15psi. & never get to rev past 6500.
I will be running a race gas only tune which will allow for higher boost but still have to deal with getting off the line!
These #'s were on my 2.4 & now I'm going to be installing a 2.2 that revs much higher & want to utilize all of the revs!
Art, Tony or someone who has good advice please chime in.
Thanks.

What wastegate and turbo combination are you running? How is wastegate placement on the manifold?

We are using the 60MM wastegate on the race car without any spiking problems, placement of the wastegate is an important part though. the 60mm works perfect.

Thats the main question on how the wastegates mounted to the manifold..I had to modify mine with just a 40mm gate cause it did the same thing..Now, it works fine..What size turbo and manifold are you using??

This is what I understand. I have a sidewinder that has a 44mm gate positioned right before the flange facing up & bends 90 degrees.
Turbo is a T3 gt35r w/ 106 hot side.
Problem is there isn't any more room to go a different direction, but I could go a little bigger (v60).
Thanks for any good advice.

HAHA yes, we did all of our NHRA license passes at Phoenix, AZ we qualified with a 10.22 so we wouldnt break out. The rest of the day was for NHRA license. We went 9.5@152 on 26psi, we will be testing before Atco and we'll see how we do. I have my NHRA license now!

Even exhaust pulses hitting the diaphram in the wastegate is crucial for relieble boost control. A well designed manifold will have this theory implemented into it's design.

boosted92 can you get us a pic with a tape next to it, or just give height dimensions & I also couldn't find the diameter of the in/outlet.
