Default Wastegate placement

I have an equal length turbo header that's divided,I'm about to intergrate the WG (Tial 44mm) and it'd be easist to go off of one side (ie 1-4 or 2-3) but I'm concerned about being able to control boost at higher levels,I was wondering anyones *expirience* good or bad only venting 2 cylinders instead of all 4.

YEs it is indeed *bad* to have the wastegate on only 2 cylinders. If you are running low boost or a small turbo that requires the wastegate to route a lot of exhaust gas around the turbine you will get creep with a crappy wastegate placement.

nfn is right.

On a high flowing "equal length" manifold, even with the wastegate @ a 4 way collector people are still having creep issues if the wastegate is not given primary flow.
