it is 6061 type 0 (not heat treated*)
The bending companies are to lazy to heat treat after a bend and t6 will crack if you try and bend it

There is a little program availlable on the internet to calcul all the cone like this one and unfold them for you.
it's called Cone layout .exe

Really usefull when making two stroke tune pipe.

Next time you start a project like this, post BEFORE you weld, it can be usefull!

I made two stroke tune pipe in Stainless with this prog, and other ATV pipe, as well as muffler and reducer, it work awesome and cost nothing, it's defenatly worth the time.

Dunno what mean, truncated part's... you know i'm a french guy... so my english is not that good. but the prog will do some layout of cone, and some complex one too, with two angle in between each part's. you can size the input and output of them, then print those out and assemble them.
I use a band sander to get each side flat, with the pic's you posted, I can average the fab time of this to about 1.5 hours max, drawn state to weld state.
it's very usefull, don't just rely on the description of the little program, try it, neway, it does have a free trial version, so for me, it deffinatly worth the time.
