OBD1 to OBD2 injector conversion
Hey
Ive got a d16z6 OBD1 in my 1994 civic cx. I have a set of OBD2 DSM injecotrs that I would like to install (they dont fit OBD1 injector clips)
I went to this Honda place, and went through a bunch of harnesses until I found one with the clips that fit. The harness was labeled 93 accords? but the injectors fit the clips
So I got the clips and the injectors im just wondering which wires on the clips go to the ones on the harness?
i searched but with not much luck
Is it possible to do this conversion?

I turned my obd2 to obd1 clips to run w/ a donor engine for the mean time. I did match the black wire with a color/back stripe ff the honda harness, I could see how kidsafe is correct b/c the motor started perfect after the first try.
so it doesn't matter which wire goes to which?
also I need help wiring in the resistor box for the DSM injecotrs
thanks

no it doesn't matter. i've had to convert my obd2 clips to obd1. as long as they're wired up and have a goood connection, it is ok. try to get them soldered if you can.

you can put the clips on just shave the injector on the inside. there is a little part in the middle that the obd-1 injector doesnt have. just get a blade and cut it off. the obd-1 clip should snap right on. im using obd-2 440 injstors with a obd-1 wiring harness. all the clips fit tight and never had a problem
