just recently found a set of obd2 injectors and need them to fit obd1 clips.. preferably without hacking the harness or spending $60 on adaptors from rywire.

I have heard that you can cut the off center tab on the injector to make it fit.. just wondering if there is any truth to this.

You can take out the blue "plug" and they will will pop right in , you will have to zip tie them so the clip doesn't slip off. You can also cut and splice them on to your obd1 harness, which imo is better if you can solder/heat shrink or do a decent crimp job

That description is of an obd2 plug modded to fit an obd1 injector. I'm looking for the opposite. But thanks tho

Yea I know.. I just don't like to cut into the harness if I don't have too but I'm almost positive you can snip the tabs.. I guess I'll find out when I get them haha
