Default depinning OBD-1 injector clips

are the OBD-1 injector clips depinable so that i can just pin in the wires so as not to cut n connect the wires to change my OBD-2 clips to OBD-1?basically i want to swap from OBD-2 to OBD-1 injectors, but instead of cutting the OBD-2 clips off n have butt connectors n things, was wondering if u can depin the connectors n put the pins in the other clips. the OBD-2 clips look like i can depin them, but the OBD-1 do not, is there a way?

Just pull the blue insert out of the OBD2 injector clips and they'll fit on OBD1 injectors, you will need to tywap them to the injectors though as they no longer snap on properly.

you can de-pin them the same way.. pop the top and stick something super small into the clip and wiggle until the flat pin comes out.

Pull the rubber piece off then pull the plastic clip off. After that turn your injector plug around so your looking at the pins. Stick your flat head screw driver down the side that has the gap. All you have to do is push your flathead screw driver againist the pin and pull the wire out.

ok. thanks for the advice Linh. It worked. Just pried the rubber seal out the back of the connector, then got some long nose pliers to pull out the plastic tab that sits under the rubber seal. Then it's depinned as any normal connector.

Next question, has anyone found a part number for new replacment injector connectors or new replacement pins?

I've found a connector bosch make but they're pricey and i'm not sure whether they'll work.

It's similiar to the injector connectors in this pic -
