I have a 97 EX Civic 150k Trubo

if i give it anymore than 25% in the Gas peddel it boggs down on me and feels like its missfireing on me. but im not geting any codes

TPS checked -ok
filter- ok

Please help Im lost.

 

Did you try a tune up?

 

I would be pissed if it was something as little as that, but no i have not.. i've only have had it for a year, and when i got it I went through everthing. just the other day i went to pull my plugs to check them. but my Fagit roommate lost my plug puller...

but when i get out of work today, I'm going to stop and buy a new one and check them tonight.. thanks for the input alot... hopfully it is just that..

 

UPDATE!

just wanted to say this is something thats has gotten worse with in the last 3 months, it would do it at WOT when im getting on it and now it will do it all the time , whenever i push opn the gas more than 25% of the way down.

 

You could really do some damage to your car if your plugs are in the wrong place. check them asap!~

 

im having the same problem with the same exact symtoms on my del sol turbo (b18b1) i am going to replace my plugs with suspision they are glazed from high temp....ill keep you updated

 

i had a similar problem........... i did a full tune up (plugs, cap, rotor, wires) and that took care of it........also, it never hurts to change the fuel filter either, especially if its the original one......

UPDATE:: my condition got alot worse today.....running on 3 cyl full time. i traced it down to cyl #4 fuel injector ( i tested it by putting a flat screwdriver to the body of the injector and my ear to the other end, listen for clicking). after replacing the injector, i also found the map sensor to be making it run crappy...

 

check your timing. It might have skipped.
