Warranty??
The reason for this post is the following. On the 24th of Feb I took my car to get serviced under warranty for some noises in the suspension, and my sunroof. I get to the dealer and speak to a rep and he tells me to bring the car back on next tuesday which would be the 27th of feb. Reason being he states that he does not have the parts to replace the sunroof. So on tuesday i take the car in and leave it in the dealer. the rep then states that it will take several weeks to get an approval from honda to then order the parts and fix the car. at this point im vexxed. so i leave the car there thinking that something is going to happen to just get the same old tired reasons for not working on the car. i call the rep yesterday and he tells me that i still have not been approved. im at a standstill and dont know what to do.. the service here in puerto rico is very poor and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what to do or what actions to take. the car just seems to be falling apart and its been 1 year and 2 weeks since ive bought the car. is there somewhere i can make a claim?

I think the problem might be due to your location...
Might not have the "stock" of parts we have in the states or clearance to get them.
Unfortunately this is probably a normal hurdle for PR & other locations where mass parts hubs aren't "local"

Getting approval for warranty work is as easy as making a phone call ... usually a max of 20 minutes on the phone w/ honda for the service advisor/writer/MGR. If the problem is clearly a defective part or issue that warranty "should" cover then the dealership will typically just order the parts and replace them(without even having to get authorization)... then if honda thinks they need to inspect the parts to validate them being faulty they will ask for the dealership to send the parts to warr. inspection. I'm not sure how dealerships recieve orders in PR but most dealerships recieve parts next-day from honda w/o freight charges. I see no reason why it should be taking so long(unless the parts are on BO order fedex is super slow) ... personally I would call AHM customer relations and see if they can aid in speeding up the process a bit.
