When I try and turn over my car, all it does it make clicky noises in the engine bay somewhere I think and the instrument lights flicker. Car wont even almost turn over, and the battery is alright, the valve cover is grounded, the car is grounded. So I duno any suggestions??
sounds like a battery problem.
when you are cranking the car, do all the lights in the dash turn off? if so then most likely it is your battery. there is a chance it could be your starter but try to jump it first.

boosted it and it worked. But I actually have another problem. This was tyhe first time driving the car in about 8 months.
I have a crx with a b16 and my check engine is on, I cant put my car past 3.5k while driving. Is my car in limp mode, if so what could cause it??
On another note I cannot even check what code I am throwing because I dont have the 2 pin jumper, and neither of my ecus have a light to flash the codes. Please help I need my car moving as soon as possible

well.. if you let a car sit for a long period of time without starting it a few times your gonna have problems.. cars dont like to just sit and do nothing, something is going to go wrong. sounds to me like your car is in limp mode.. try resetting the ecu and try it again. if that doesnt work.. your gonna have to try and figure the code out.. i thought you can use a paper clip and jump the connector?
had the same problem with the clicking noise. but my problem was with my thermostat. after i changed that i does not happen any more yeah you can use a paper clip to jump the connector. also you can hook up a switch to your ecu that you just flip to see what your code is
