so today i went to a friends house, car won't start. i hear a ticking noise when i tried to start it. friend helps me jump it. the car starts, but it has a hard time starting. it starts everything runs. i drive to the stop sign, as soon as i hit the brakes, the car dies. we jump the car again, as soon as i hit something electrical the car dies. as soon as i turn the lights on it dies. as soon as i turn on a turn signal it dies. what do you think the problem is? i'm about to buy a battery, but does this seem like a battery issue?

 

May be the battery or your alternator. Have you messed with anything electrical on your car lately? If so, maybe a ground is messed up?
