whuts up i was just hoping to run this by all ya honda geniuses out there, check it out i bought this 93hatch with a jdm b16a in it, when i originally bought the car it ran awsome straight past 8000 i am currently getting it smog legal to ref it and smog it so that i can register it and be legal, when i bought the car it had straight piping from the headers to the resonator and then to the muffler, i don't know what kind of muffler it is, its not just a fart can and its not some big universal muffle it looks similar to stock exaust except its bigger with a bigger outlet well when i had a hi flow cat welded on to the car the other day it got quieter which was expected but it also lost a ton of power after 6000 and at 7500 it flatens out and sounds like the engine is going to blow through the firewall at me also before i had the cat welded in i could hear vtec kick in perfectly, now i can't hear it at all, now i know that you can't hear vtec kick in, in most cars but you could in mine now you can't, anybody experienced this or know whats up, also how do i make sure my vtec is electronically hooked up or how do i make sure that it is working. any input would be great, thanks
