Paint
Best paint is realy the wrong question.. It all depends on who is doing your body/paint work and what they prefer to use.. I have seen cheaper paint turn out better just by the person having years of experience using it.. I know that sounds kind of dumb but its true.. obviously PPG is a very popular company and hard to go wrong with.. the body shop i worked at used glazurit(sp).. i think porsche uses this from the factory but it is a more expensive paint..
just take it to whomever is doing the work and let them use what they use day in and day out.. going to get a much better result..

BMW uses Glasurit from the factory and i believe ure correct about Porsche as well, Dustin. The garage i worked in used nothing but Glasurit and when done right, it looked amazing however if you dont know how to do the correct mixture modifying it according to temp, humidity, etc (even when used in a paint booth), it can easily turn out like ****. PPG is a much less picky paint to work with but it really all depends on who is doin the painting.
And OP, that big red Search button is ure friend. Ull find ure paint code there.

LMAO good one.
And to the OP, we might be a bit forgiving if this question wasnt asked and posted every 48hrs or so for 7 years.

I'm sure you can get HoK paint mixed to whatever color or paint code you want.
(I'm pretty sure HoK is a PPG brand anyway). If I were going to paint my car, which I've strongly considered, I would look at PPG, Valspar, and Dupont. It will mainly depend on what the paint shops around here carry, and how the pricing goes. I've heard of people having really good success using the PPG Omni brand basecoats with the regular PPG clears, and this is a fairly budget-conscious decision.
Valspar paint also has a really good reputation, maybe not as nice (depends on who you ask) as PPG, but still REALLY good for the money. The Dupont Chroma system also seems to have a pretty loyal fanbase.
