Just thought I'd share a pic with people who were waiting for their hoods.
And, yes, it does have a hood latch for those that are still wondering.
The fitment is pretty good, not perfect, but I'm content with it. For those of you in Cali that want a CF hood, this is the one to get. The weave pattern is so tight a bacteria couldn't get through the weave.
I'm still waiting on a replacement hood from them b/c this one has a cracked corner and a couple of chips on teh leading edge.

Fitment should work out just fine after adjusting the rubber hood stops. I'll wait to do that after they put the bumper back on.
I'll have more pics after my car is finally finished.

how is the weight of these hoods compared to fiberimages?
The side gap seems to be way too big... I hope you run some hood-pin/locks, cuz you're gonna catch air through those gaps and your hood will flex/move at high speeds. A good fit should allow the hood to sit just a tad below the stock fender line.

I'm gonna see about moving the hinges back a tad to see if it'll flush up to the fenders a little better. We tried lowering the hood latch as much as possible so that it would still catch and removing the bump stops (which never interfered in the first place when they were put all the way down - I still have them out until I can get to moving the hinges around), but it still sits just like it is now.

The company who was contracted to ship the hoods kept doing something to them and messing up the corners. It was the driver-side corner on mine. The passenger-side corner was perfect.
The styrafoam corner protector that they use to pack the sharp corners at the back of the hood gets poked through by the corner of the hood easy enough if they keep nudging up against that same corner. That leaves it susceptible to hard impacts.
I'm not gonna speculate into any specific scenarios as to who or what may have damaged the hood, but the end result is that Factor X has stopped shipping them.
