u can make it on a non vtec motor, but it may be easier to achieve with the vtec head. I believe mini me sawps have higher compression... not 100% sure... but you want low compression for high boost applications. one of the first things you should change is your radiator, get a dual core, and if possible a aluminium one. also what kind of turbo do you want to do ... smog legal, or home made, or a nice custom set up.... let me know hit me up on IM

Well im probably going to go with a small turbo maybe one out of a mitsu. gs-t or something along those lines ,im not sure the size of that turbo. they say a t-3 would be good cuz it spools really fast but im not sure whats best cuz ive never gone turbo before ive always done eather all motor or mass amounts of nitrous so im looking to do something different. my homie told me to go mini me with the older integra pistons but like u said , i think the comp. would be to high. ill probably go with a cross between a custom and home made kit for one im on a budget and either way i go here in cali its hard to smog most stock cars so it doesnt really matter to me , my unc,. will smog it for an 18 pack of bud- anyways.could i do the v-tech conv. and the turbo custom kit for about 2 g's or will it cost more? thanx for the help.

with 2g's you could just about do the vitara setup and get 400hp. i did my setup with $500 and had my car running 13's. so sounds like youll have a way better build with that amount of money...

Vitara setup? sorry im not familiar with that but u say u did yours for 5 bills thats crazy cuz parts for turbo setup that ive seen are pretty pricy. thats about what im shooting for to run 13's nothing to extreme cuz its still my daily driver . thanx.

The viatar set ups is running pistons from a guy fjt he is on http://www.turbod16.com

http://www.turbod16.com/viewto...db41b

they are like $130 shipped. then a set of eagles are $300... so $430 is the total.... proble is that you have to check your bore first and make sure it is round.... cuz it is a 75mm piston which is the stock bore of the d16.

If i was doing a custom d series turbo, id use a 14B, honestly, id leave it how it is

How many miles on the motor? you can make 200hp when tuned

There are alot of companies that make full d series turbo kits
