Default HELP! diagnose a sound (vid w/sound included)

just made this vid, but it was dark so you can't see anythingl:

i can tell the noise is coming from the passenger side of the engine bay, and
(when looking towards the front of the car) it's to the right of the
battery/intake piping area (i have a 4cyl). probably somewhere within the
yellow circle in this pic:

it's NOT due to the CAI (at least as far as i can tell). i can shake/jiggle the
intake piping around and there is no fluctuation in the sound. i've tried
shaking/moving anything and everything in that area, and nothing makes the
sound change.

-the sound wasn't there when i got my car back from my engine swap (a week
and a half ago)
-about two days after i got it back i started hearing it, but only sometimes
when coasting
-now it's on almost all the time, even at idle, car not in gear

BUT it will go off instantly as soon as i push down the clutch pedal a tiny bit
(not even close to fully engaging the clutch, probably push it down 1/4") and
the sound will be gone as long as i hold the pedal in, but once i release it, it
just comes back.

any suggestions, before i have someone more knowledgeable look at it?

EDIT: my car
1999 accord lx sedan
4cyl, manual transmission
f23a1 just swapped in, ~35k miles on the motor
big three in 1/0
cold air intake

In your description of the problem you say stepping on the clutch changes the noise. Throwout bearing maybe?
I'd suggest you put your hand down on the clutch pivot arm and feel for vibration changes while someone steps on the clutch pedal.
You could also go under the car and remove the inspection plate at the bottom of the clutch housing, then rotate the engine and look for a problem.

Did you check to make sure the clutch fork is tightened, as well as other components of the linkage? Another question I had for you is what's all that wiring for, I saw you have low gauge wiring right in front of the exhaust manifold and near your PS pulley setup. Judging from the picture I'd say that stuff is going to melt or get tangled in your belts, I'd secure it for sure, or rip it out if you don't really need it.

manual says: noise in clutch area: 1) fork shaft improperly installed 2) faulty bearing

thanks!

i re-did the ground and alt-to-battery with 1/0 wiring when i had my big amp (2300W RMS @ 1ohm), now the amp is gone, but i still have the wiring. it's all zip tied and has no signs of melting (yet).

i'll try to check out the things mentioned, but i really don't know much about cars

Take it back to the shop that did the engine swap and ask them "Which bolt was left loose?"

mechanic friend did it, so that wouldn't be a problem, but if it's something easy i'd just take care of it myself.

it sounds like the release bearing of the clutch. i had that problem but it wasnt as loud. just take it back to the mechanic so they can lube it up and you will be good to go.

Have your friend or somebody push your clutch pedal down while you're looking in the engine bay. Look right beside the front motor mount and you will see a black cylinder type device attached to your transmission....looks like a dog turd. There's the clutch fork right next to that and when they push the clutch pedal, you will see a pin type protrusion push the fork. That turd is your slave cylinder.
