ok, yesterday i replaced my water valve because my a/c wasn't blowing out cold enough. after installing it i still couldn't get the valve to close all the way with the switch on the climate control.

no matter where i place the cable on the valve or under the blower, it still wouldn't close.i did remove my dash recently, the cable seems to be in the right place. i didn't see anything, but is there a specific clip or something that the cable will clip to behind the dash (not the clip under the blower)? so my question is, does the cable ever go bad? where the cable connects to on the blower, does that go bad?

please help me out fellas, trying to get this running before summer hits.
