97 Civic HX - Fuel Gauge
Hi, A friend of mine is buying a 97 Civic HX and the seller said it has a problem with the Fuel Gauge (going up and down and being inaccurate) and asked me If I knew what could be the problem and maybe a solution to fix it..
He doesn't want to buy something and later on having to pay $500 to fix the problem..
Could it be a wire or something similar? Sorry for not having more details..
Any idea is welcome!
Thanks,
Dan

No actually if he means while driving it around, all hondas have that problem haha.
I have an HX it's a bitch of a car to have and want to modify. It's the black sheep of the family. Got all the bullshit emissions crap. So if he can, he should steer clear. Unless he plans to straight up swap it, then by all means.
No idea what the problem could be, maybe a loose ground somewhere? Or something.
