Default turbo manifold need opinion

hey
i picked up a manifold and have a question.

will the wastegate placement on runner 1 cause any creep/spike

It's obviously not ideal placement, but depending on how much boost you run you might not have any problems.

I ran a Drag manifold on my last setup (worlds worst WG placement) and I never had any issues with creeping or spiking. So who knows.

A friend of mine ran a drag manifold, crappy wastegate placement just like the OP's manifold. Manifold held 15psi before creeping. So if you run 12psi or less I would say you should be fine.

Haha...I noticed that and I thought I was going crazy for a minute there. Poor placement for sure, and the likelyhood for holding solid boost is comprimised greatly.

thanks for the reply, this is going on my stock ls motor running a t3 60ar hot/48ar compressor not sure what the trim are, also have a 38mm tial wastegate for it. looking to make around 250-300whp
