i wanna wire my tach and my homeboy told me i could wire it up to the dizzy... to the ground on the coil.. is that true????... if not where else can i wire it to???

Tap the solid blue wire of your cluster harness. That's the tach signal wire.

i had it like that but.. it wasnt right... my rev limit is 7 and my tach was showing 5

Then, connect the signal wire to the negative side of the distributor coil.

ok. i put in a factory tach cluster and it goes to like 4.5K RPMS and starts goin crazy, why?
