That ss hose doesnt go the full length. It just replaces the rubber section as the rest is hard steel brake line. I bought one and think it was worth it. It gave a more precise feel to my clutch. Just like how they say on there website:

If i have an ek with a d16z6 and the slave cylinder and hard line from a b18c1 what do I use? If they're all the same length then i'm not so worried, if not which is the longest?

There website says use it with the chassis you have. You could probably e-mail them for exact measurements.

I don't know why you would replace SOLID lines with a braided rubber line, not very bright in my opinion. If you could have a solid (meaning the hard line) from the MC to the slave cylinder then you couldn't get a better feel. Hell if I could figure out how to have hard lines go all the way to my brake calipers I would do it. Just a little fact when it comes to least expansion of a hydraulic line it goes: hard>braided stainless>rubber.

i meant that that line from Fastline performance only replaces the rubber section on the clutch line for the MC to the SC. on my d16 the part of the line is under my intake.
