Default leaky SS clutch line

So I had insstalled the SS line and it held good for about a week. I wasnt monitoring fluids either that week. Well I come out and I have almost no clutch pedal. It leaking from the SS line to SC connection. Did I just not tighting it enough or should I have treated the threads with something before installing?

My buddy is telling me I forgot to take the old seal off?????? And hes saying now theres two seals in there and thats why its leaking?????

IDK let me know whats going on.

Did you convert the entire clutch line over to braided AN line? Did you use 10mm x 1.0 brake flare fittings? If you used the right fittings, then you should need any teflon tape on the ends that go into the clutch master and slave cylinders, since the original connections are flared brake lines, and the AN to brake flare adapters seal the same way. You could add some teflon tape to those connections just to ensure a good seal in case the flares don't line up quite right, but you shouldn't use it on any AN connections since they depend on the flares in the firrings/hose ends to seal. If you don't have AN wrenches, then use the appropriate sized box end wrenches to tighten the connections. Make sure they are good and snug, but don't over tighten them(you don't need to throw all your weight into tightening them). Yes, if there was any residual sealant or teflon tape still present in the connections, they should be thoroughly cleaned out prior to installing new fittings/lines.
