COOLANT for Turbo - Single Looped Line? One Source OK?
Hey guys
I am planning on making an addition to my factory waterneck (d16) and basically just extending out the water neck form the head about an inch so I can drill and tap a water temp port. With that space I also plan to drill and tap a hole to watercool my turbo
I was hoping I could simply drill and tap one hole for the turbo, have a single line coming off off the head, split at the turbo and each line (from the same source) go to a port on the turbo
Would this work fine? Would this flow?
Thanks

A single line wouldnt flow. it would probably leave some air in the coolant system, plus the lack of flow could cause overheating. You'd need two lines, in and out.
