COOLANT for Turbo - Single Looped Line? One Source OK?
Hey guys
I am planning on making an addition to my factory waterneck (d16) and basically just extending out the water neck form the head about an inch so I can drill and tap a water temp port. With that space I also plan to drill and tap a hole to watercool my turbo
I was hoping I could simply drill and tap one hole for the turbo, have a single line coming off off the head, split at the turbo and each line (from the same source) go to a port on the turbo
Would this work fine? Would this flow?
Thanks

you need presure for flow, you need one line before the waterpump and another after. that way you have a feed and return

Where does that sucker lead to? behind the coolant jacket?
Im assuming you mean the plug on the left side of the block about 1/2 way down?

no i dont... and no danger in it.
but i still think it is alot easier to run it inline with the IACV.
