HONDATA or AEM EMS?? Who has what???
I am going to get one of these, but I have heard things about both. Who has which and which one is better in your opinion?? And why????
If you are intimately familiar with engine management (and the nitty gritty working parameters of the ECU), you will likely get more out of the AEM.
Hondata gives enough control over the system that it will satisfy the needs of 95% of the people out there.
AEM offers more control in most regards at the cost of complexity. For example, with Hondata, there are 2 settings to adjust idle: IACV duty cycle and target idle. For the AEM, there are over 20.
