Not sure what my problem is, hear a clunk noise when leaving from a stop position. Worst comes to worst how much will a whole new driver side axle replacement run me at a garage?

 

You can go to your local auto parts store. They cost ~ 70.00. Take it to a local garage and have them install it. Shouldnt run that much.

There will be a core charge as well. It might be best to call your local auto parts store and order the axle. When it gets in, arrange to take your car to the shop to have the axle taken out. Then take the axle with you to the auto parts store so that you dont have to pay the core charge. Then take the axle to the garage and have him install it.

 

please don't take it to a garage. It so easy to do. Get the axles. Pull both wheels off. under the bolt on the axle its like a 32 or 34 I think can't ever remember. You will have to have someone apply the brakes. Take the bottom ball joint nut of pry the ball joint with arm up. Then remove the 17mm bolt that connects the strut and move it out of the way. Then using a long pry bar go in from the top side and pry each axle out. Don't pull the axles out.
