First I know this is a question that has been brought up several times and I know it's personal choice, but given my situation what would you guys suggest? I have an h22 92 Accord and I'm trying to sell the car, but if I don't I want to add a little more power this summer, mainly when I go to the dragway. I love driving my car around in the summer as it is right now, stock, but I want that power for the drag strip. Also, I know initially nitrous is cheaper, but in the long run filling up the bottles and so on it gets expensive, but I like the cheaper initial price of the nitrous as opposed to boost. Given those two factors I'm leaning towards nitrous because of the cost and because I don't really want the power all the time. I know at some point I will boost my car, but the funds have to be there to begin with. I realize that both require some tuning and other components and I know that most will say BOOST FTW, I guess I'm just trying to convince myself that using nitrous for 1 summer and not using it very often can be fun and will satisfy what I want at the drag way, which is 13's.
i would go with nitrous. its not like your going to go and use nitrous everyday (well i hope now). you only have to fill when you use it all up. in the long run it would take you a much longer time to buy a kit and fill the nitrous to add up to the money spent on a turbo kit. another thing is, if you are planning to boost, the nitrous kit can help spool up your turbo which is a plus...just my 2 cents
Yeh i would say go with Nitrous i would do a 55-shot if u have stock interals, But if u boosted it you would blow it up bcuz high compression an h-series motors dont like boost not unless built, im thinking of throwing a 55-shot on my car this summer. but my choice would be Nitrous.
