Default lil problem. plz help.

ok. so my car(95 integra) had a CEL 4(crank position sensor), and from what ive heard, its the dizzy that i need to change. so i did(bought a new dizzy), and it still has the same problem. it has hard time starting, wont rev past 3500rpm. does anyone know how i can fix this or what i need to do to get this running?
thanks,

The sensor in your dizzy is your cam position sensor, you should have a separate crank position sensor down by the crank.

Did you check the wires from the dizzy to the ecu? Also did you set your timing when you installed the new one?

yes and yes. i was told that when you do timing, it should line up on the red line on the pulley. well anyways, the dizzy was as far back as it could go and it still didn't reach the red line. what do you think could cause that? do you think their could be a problem with the actual crank?
oh and i took the valve cover off, and i noticed that the timing belt had slipped a tooth. so i fixed it and didnt fix the problem.

Did you jump the connector near the ecu before you checked the ign timing? (after you corrected the valve timing of course)
