Could be something very simple like your gas cap isn't on tight etc... next thing id look at would be the Canister-purge valve...

I've never had the canister fix it. On our cars it's always been the valve.

There are 3 solenoids that need to work properly. Canisters don't usually go that often...its usually one of the solenoids. You have to check each solenoid by applying 12v to it and see or hear if it clicks. The one that does't click is the defective one or it could just be a vacuum hose problem.

There's a shut valve on the canister itself. it's just below the battery. The bypass
solenoid is by the gas tank. Each should click if you apply battery voltage to them.

order of correction in most cases is gas cap, canister shut valve, canister, 2-way/bypass valve, then purge but very rearly do we see them at the dealer. use the 12 volt method on each to see if they "click". if they all click then start looking at leaks in vacuum hoses.

Just posting the Part # for the Evap ByPass Solenoid Valve because it is a PITA to find on the internet !
The part # is 17012-ST7-L01 and can be ordered at AcuraAutomotiveParts.org
(Its not listed on AcuraOemParts.com)

BTW. If you never found the valve in February, it is on the driver side of the gas tank underneath a plastic cover held on by three clips.
