ive been having this code on for almost 3 years now....pretty much replaced everything i could except the bypass solenoid near the gas tank because i don't know exactly were near the gas tank area does anyone have a picture or can take some picture?

canister
canister purge valve
Gas Cap 2nd time
canister Shut valve

 

my friend has the same problem. has replaced the gas cap, canister and the valve on the canister. any advice would be cool.

 

check to make sure your purge control sol. is working. If it is then you need to get some test equiptment to find your leak. poss. o-ring, hose clogged, or maybe a bum solenoid. Lots of test need to be done. Without the proper software you probably wont be able to fix it, one of those things us at the dealer hate b/c its a hard diag, s /b #03-001 Evap bypass solenoid valve fails due to corrosion. Try that if you haven't already. good luck

So what do you do to fix this code?

 

most likely you need to go to the dealer. they will probably use a smoke machine to find a leak or you could have a clog, sometimes a small cobb web.

 

iam hearin alot of people replacing and fixing a number of different things regarding the evap cannister and still having a code what gives?
